Help for Ukrainian Refugees
Help for Ukrainian Refugees
It has been suggested that some help could be provided by the community of Little Budworth for Ukrainians still in Ukraine and those who have become refugees.
A collection is being organised by local Polish people who have direct access to the places where items are needed.
Though this is not a Mothers’ Union project, the Little Budworth branch are happy to co-ordinate a collection. There will be a collection point in St Peter’s church and also on Cora Cowap’s drive, Brackenburn, Vicarage Lane, Little Budworth, CW6 9BP (where there was a bin for contributions for the homeless at Christmas time).
The collection will be for 4 weeks initially from Monday 28th February to Sunday 27th March, but more contributions may be asked for in the future because this situation will be on-going.
Here’s the list of items that have been requested:
Nappies
Adult incontinence pads
Sanitary towels
Bandages and plasters
Paracetamol and other painkillers
Soap
Shower gel
Shampoo
Toothpaste and toothbrushes
